Tell us about the attack
While walking down the street, 2 pit bulls broke out of their fence and raced up to me in a manner that any reasonable person would consider threatening to life and limb. They terrorized me as I tried to back away to my neighbor’s yard. When I turned to run, I fell and the next thing I knew, they were jumping at my face. I don’t remember anything after that, but somehow, I got away to my neighbor’s house. I believe it was an act of God that I was not killed.
How has your life changed as a result of the attack?
I am terrified to live here now as I know that the pit bulls will get out again but more afraid for the children here.
The Sherriff refused to issue a citation and the dog court has given no response to my petition for dangerous dog designation. I have lost all respect for law enforcement.
What would you like people to know as a result of your attack?
Our country should ban pit bulls. North Carolina is the number 2 dog fighting state and therefore, breeding of the pit bull is lucrative. Animal rescues and dog fighting ring cartels are sponsors of a disinformation campaign to convince the public that pit bulls are not the public safety issue that statistics prove they are. After the dogs fight, they’re flooding our ASPCA and other animal shelters.
